Kimberly AW Peaslee
Kim works with clients of all sizes to protect their patents, trademarks, and copyrights in the U.S. She has a PhD in chemistry and practices in a wide range of technology areas including chemistry, biotech, medical and scientific devices, optics, software, materials, mechanical devices, and consumer products.
Kim’s clients include entrepreneurs, experienced business leaders, artists and academic institutions. Kim is originally from the Portland, Maine area where she grew up sailing in Casco Bay. Kim earned her B.A. in Chemistry, cum laude, from the University of Southern Maine, and her Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from Dartmouth College. Kim earned her law degree, cum laude, from Franklin Pierce Law Center (FPLC) in Concord, NH. There, Kim was a Merck Patent Fellow and the winner of the Intellectual Property Owners Education Foundation’s Donald W. Banner Corporate Intern Scholarship for her work with Merck.
Kim is active in professional organizations and in the local community. Most recently, she participated in Leadership Greater Concord and the Hoffman-Haas Fellowship programs. She is currently Co-Treasurer of RB Productions, a community youth theater program, and a member of Creative Concord. When Kim is not in the office, she enjoys the outdoors with her daughter and two Alaskan Malamutes. In colder months, Kim can be found snowshoeing or working in textiles, beads, or metal.
